SAN FRANSISCO - Produsen perangkat elekronik Korea Selatan, Samsung mengenalkan tiga model perangkat televisi LED 3D di Amerika Serikat. Salah satu model tersebut diantaranya adalah LED seri C8000 yang diklaim sebagai TV LED 3D terbesar di dunia.
Televisi besar berukuran 65 inci tersebut rencananya akan hadir akhir Agustus 2010 di pasar Amerika Serikat. Rencananya C8000 akan dibanderol sekira USD6.000 atau sekira Rp53,8 juta.
C8000 mengusung teknologi Precision Dimming dan dilengkapi koneksi WiFi. Perbandingan rasio kontras mencapai 1:8.000.000. Demikian dilansir Pocket Lint, Senin (16/8/2010).
Dua televisi lain yang diluncurkan Samsung adalah Plasma 680 dan Plasma 490. Plasma 680 akan dibanderol pada kisaran USD1.600 dan USD2.300 untuk ukuran 50 inci dan 58 inci. Fitur yang ditawarkan antaralain 600 Hz Subfield Motion dan resolusi HD 1080p. Sementara itu, untuk Plasma 490 yang juga mengusung teknologi 3D akan dibanderol di kisaran USD1.000.
Samsung hingga saat ini, mengklaim menguasai sekira 80 persen pasar 3D TV dan diperkirakan pada 2011 pasar televisi 3D di AS akan berkembang sekira 70 persen. Selain itu, setahun mendatang pasar televisi juga akan dikuasai oleh Televisi berukuran 40 inci ke atas. (ugo)

TV LED 3 Dimensi mulai dipasarkan
SURABAYA - SURYA- Kehadiran televisi berteknologi LED 3D diprediksi mendominasi pasar dalam 2-3 tahun mendatang. Saat ini pasar masih banyak dikuasai televisi jenis CRT (TV tabung) dan LCD.
Product Marketing Flat Planel Display PT LG Electronics Indonesia (LGEI) Lie Dewi Srijati mengatakan, penetrasi TV jenis LED memang masih kecil, apalagi sekarang hadir teknologi LED 3D.
“Bagi pasar high-end yang merupakan segmen TV LED 3D kehadirannya mendapat sambutan cukup bagus,” kata Dewi, di sela Infinia Roadshow di Tunjungan Plaza, Rabu (28/7).
LG kali ini menghadirkan TV LED 3D tipe LX9500 ukuran 55 inci (Rp 55 jutaan) dan 42 inci (Rp 25 jutaan). Harga ini termasuk kacamata 3D yang seharga 125 dolar AS (Rp 1.125.000).
Penjualan TV LED 3D di Surabaya ditargetkan terjual 50 unit sampai 2010. “Untuk menggeser TV tabung ke LCD saja butuh waktu bertahun-tahun, lalu LCD ke LED juga baru berjalan. Sekarang sudah ada LED 3D,” ujarnya.
Booming LED 3D ini diperkirakan 2-3 tahun lagi. Alasannya, untuk booming, sebuah teknologi harus didukung oleh ekosistem pasar. Saat ini, film 3D masih sangat sedikit. Bahkan channel TV lokal yang menyiarkan acara dengan gambar 3D belum ada.
Branch Manager LGEI Surabaya Iwan Sutanto menambahkan, dalam pameran ini transaksi penjualan ditargetkan Rp 5 miliar.
“Kita ada dua kali roadshow. Untuk 28 Juli-1 Agustus di TP dan 4-8 Agustus di Supermal Pakuwon Indah,” katanya.
Di Jatim, pangsa pasar TV LED masih sangat kecil. Ada 9.000 unit TV LCD semua merek yang beredar di Jatim, LG mengklaim bisa menguasai 28 persennya.
TV LED 3D butuh waktu untuk benar-benar diterima pasar. Faktor kesulitan utama terkait harga. Harga TV LED 3D 1,5 kali lebih mahal dibanding TV LCD.
Public Relations and Marketing Event Manager PT Hartono Istana Teknologi, pemegang merek Polytron, Santo Kadarusman menambahkan, Polytron akan mengeluarkan LED November 2010.
